Why Climate Smart Kitchen Garden in Nigeria?
In accordance with the latest Cadre Harmonies’ report released by the Nigeria government, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Food Security Sector partners. Highlighted, the persistent threat of food and nutrition insecurity to 30.6 million people in Nigeria, with further projection of acute food insecurity occurrence among 26 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (F.C.T) during the June – August 2025 lean season.
Hence, the need for Climate Smart Kitchen Garden call to action is crucial and highly important to ameliorate the ongoing food insecurity in Nigeria and every Nigerians need to take action against hunger through homestead capacity food production.
